Halewood is situated in the south of the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley, Merseyside bordering Liverpool. Halewood u3a was founded in 1996 and is one of the smaller u3as. At present we have 210 members. The University of the Third Age (u3a) is a nationwide organisation but each u3a is operated independently to provide opportunities for members to work in groups to develop their interests and skills. We hold monthly general meetings on the last Friday of the month at The Arncliffe Centre, Arncliffe Road, Halewood, Liverpool, L25 9PA where all are welcome.
The meeting room opens at 2:00pm for a 2:30 start. We have a guest speaker, updates on current activities followed by tea, coffee and biscuits.
Our membership fee is currently £12.00pa. This is for the year January to Decmber.
