Members enjoyed a wonderful day trip to “Trentham Gardens “ on our annual “August Day Out” Weather was lovely

At Our February Monthly meeting our guest speaker was Captain Peter Woods who gave an interesting talk on his long and colourful career in the maritime industry along with the history of of the gold topped cane and his experience of being a Captain working with various shipping lines.
Our Christmas party took place on the 13th December at Hollies Hall, Halewood
We were richly entertained by St Helens "UKES 3A" Ukulele band with a varied selection of music and joining in with the songs from their supplied song book.
Later the band joined our members at the excellent buffet.
A Wonderful time was enjoyed by all .
