The u3a walking group meets every Monday at 10 o'clock at Hunts Cross Station. From there we use public transport (usually the train) to various destinations, Wirral, Ormskirk, Southport etc. Our walks are usually about 6/7 miles. We keep the membership limited to 30 as we sometimes use local buses (on the Wirral) and there is a limit to how many these carry. We are open to new members at the moment.

The heat has restricted the walks we have been on, but we have tried to find walks near the sea or through woods. We did have  a trip on the ferry, then a walk along the front to have lunch under the trees in the park.
